It's not too 'light' to make lanterns for the upcoming Revoelution Lantern Festival on 27th February from 5:30pm-7:45pm. Year 5 have been working hard with the Revoelution team to light up our lives with their amazing creations.

From Giant Snails and Millipedes, to Tarantulas, African Pygmy Hedgehogs, Leopard Geckos and Royal Pythons, Year 5 experienced all kinds of amazing reptiles, invertebrates and mammals thanks to Hands on Animals. But the star of the show was the beautiful Barn Owl who took a shine to Mrs Cox.

Year 5 headed to Martin Mere this week where they explored the wetland habitats of many animals and even had the chance to complete an educational pond dipping session. All children were a credit to the school and many members of the public complimented their good behaviour.

Year 4 + 5 beat a rhythmic path to a new skill with African dance and drumming tuition yesterday. After learning about the instruments, traditions, music and dance of Africa they celebrated their new found expertise in a whole school assembly.
