Year 3 finished off their Stone Age topic by designing and making Stone Age flatbreads. They have thoroughly enjoyed this topic and learned a lot about pre-historic man.

Mosque Visit

To continue to enhance their understanding of Islam, year 3 enjoyed a visit to Blackpool Central Mosque. They were welcomed by the Imam who shared his knowledge and faith with the children.

HipHop UK Street Dance Stars

At the  Hip Hop UK Street Dance Stars 2019 competition, the FY Wingz team carried home a pile of trophies with our very own Streetdance Star - Leon winning Best Solo Dancer and Best Group Dance for his age group. Fantastic job Leon and everyone at FYWingz.

Cave Paintings

'Feel the Force' Marble Runs

As part of our IPC topic ‘Feel the Force,’ we designed and made marble runs from recycled rubbish donated from home. We used these to discover different types of forces involved in a marble run. We had loads of fun selecting and building with our materials.

Revoe does Junior Masterchef

Our Revoe does Junior Masterchef competition was an opportunity for year 3 to demonstrate their culinary skills, preparing healthy meals for our three expert judges. Two groups were awarded all-round best dish on presentation, healthiness and the all important taste test.

Paddington Bear's Cousin

Today a new bear visited year 3. He has been travelling around the world and has just got off the train at Euston. In English, we are going to write stores about his adventures. He is Paddington bear's cousin and he likes eating jam sandwiches. We have decided to call him Euston.
