The nursery children have been very busy making a special card to celebrate Queen Elizabeth's 90th Birthday. Each child drew a picture of something we thought the Queen might like, we then used these to make a wonderful collage on the front of the card and wrote a special message on the inside.…
On the 9th of June we celebrated International Dough Disco Day. The nursery children and staff had great fun dancing and singing while moulding dough in our hands. This helps the children to strengthen the muscles and gain more control over their hands ready for starting to write.
Nursery 2 have enjoyed spending time outside in the sunshine this week. They have been busy playing in the water, digging and building in the sand as well as exploring the Maths things outside.
This week we have enjoyed the simple joys of a cardboard box. Miss Barker brought some very big boxes from home and we pretended it was a house, a car, a television and a pirate ship!
