As part of a 'Bake it' topic, this week year 5 learnt about bread and yeast. With help from the experts at Pizza Express, they learnt how to knead and toss dough the Italian way to create a perfect base. They explored different ingredients and sampled cheeses, olives, onions and mushrooms, choosing tasty toppings to add to their perfect pizza. After receiving certificates the pizza was cooked and our Junior Pizzaiolos were able to take their delicious creations home. Thanks to our friends at Blackpool Pizza Express for a visit that can't be topped!
